WoW Instances

April 24th, 2007 by Shenron

Areas which are duplicates to other areas are called instances ( also called dungeons or instance dungeons ). Here, a area exists more than one place and simultaneous i.e. more than one group can possible do same activities in a location which is also done by the other group in the very same location, yet both the groups don’t interfere with each other.

They may also refer to a exact copy of an area. Areas such as battlegrounds can also be called as instances as they too allow multiple packs of players to play at the same time without disturbing one another. A instance is generally observed with a large swirling portal as its entrance. There are other kinds of instance entrances too.
